What We're Drinking - Brooklyn Summer Ale
This month, Nick, Herb, Eddie, Dave and Chris tasted Brooklyn's Summer Ale. Their thoughts are below and, as always, our homework is better than yours.

Name: Brooklyn Summer Ale
Style: Pale Ale
ABV: 5.0%·
Great Lakes' description: Brooklyn Summer Ale is a refreshing, flavorful pale ale made to accompany you on all your warm weather adventures. 100% British 2-row barley brings its famed bready flavors, capped off with German and American hops to provide a snappy, clean bitterness and a bright, floral aroma.
Nick: I enjoyed this summer ale quite a bit. It's the right balance between a lawnmower beer and a craft to enjoy with friends. Not too much citrus or hops. This is a beer for everyone.
Herb: This is pool beer. Just a bit of citrus and a refreshing finish make this one of my very favorite summer beers.
Eddie: A light and refreshing pale ale that is just drinkable. On an active, hot summer day, this would be a great choice to counter the heat.
Dave: Light with a bit of fruit, but not too much. Hot summer nights would pair well with this one.
Chris: This went down way too easy, but a craft pale ale at 5% ABV will do that. This is incredibly refreshing, tasty and straightforward beer. No pretense, just a very good beer that you can go back to again and again.
